This is the perfect dessert if you want something light, sweet, and salty. The cookie is airy and the chocolate is decadent. 1. Preheat oven to 300º
2. In a large mixing bowl beat egg whites and vanilla until soft peaks form
3. Slowly add in 2 tablespoons of sugar, beat until stiff peaks form
4. Fold in cocoa with a spatula
5. Get a pastry bag and use any shaped tip
6. Pour in half the mixture into the pastry bag with a spatula
7. Pipe cookies 1 1/2 inch in diameter and an inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet
8. Bake for 30-35 minutes and cool on wired racks
MAKING COCOA GLAZE:
1. In a glass liquid measuring cup, put in chocolate and shortening.
2. Melt chocolate until smooth in the microwave.
FINISHING TOUCHES:
1. Dip half the cookie in melted chocolate.
2. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. ENJOY!
