Apples and cinnamon oh my! Fall is in the air and the apple trees are ripe for the picking. These Apple Cinnamon Muffins are a crowd pleaser, they are simple to make and fill your belly with goodness.
Bonus: The aroma of warm apples and cinnamon wafting through the house just might wake up those pesky sleepers in the morning. It doesn’t get much better than chunks of warm apples wrapped in a blanket of moist cinnamon goodness.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350º
2. Peel skin off apples and cut into bit sizes
3. Whisk sugar, butter, vanilla, and eggs in a large bowl
4. Sift the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder into the large bowl
5. Fold until almost combined
6. Add the milk and fold until combined completely
7. Fold in apples
8. Line a cupcake tin and fill 3/4th of the way
9. Optional to add brown sugar on top
10. Bake for 20-25 minutes
